A stunning new piece of work from Zase and Dekor at the junction of Ashley road, Sussex pl and Lower Ashley Road. Has had the scaffolding taken down this week revealing what the two guys have been painting for the last week or so.
It’s one busy junction so lots of people will get to see it and I think they will enjoy this new lovely piece that hopefully will be around for some time to come .
I was fortunate enough to come across the Ken Fox troupes Wall of Death at the 2015’s Bristol Volksfest and seeing as I have never seen a wall of death performance before I thought it would be interesting to see.
There was some great riding skills on show and it was all very entertaining and it looked like they were all enjoying what they were doing and the crowd were all appreciative of their efforts on putting on such a good show and to be honest I thought it was really great and it completed an already great weekend.
I have been meaning to take some photos of these beautiful walls since last year when the children in Montpelier painted two of the walls leading into Montpelier Park in Bristol for the Montpelier Bean Fest.
It was the curves of the walls coupled with those big splashes of colour alongside the trees and the light that just caught my eye.
I must have spent a good 40 minutes, what with waiting for the light to just change a bit and playing with the angles that worked for me the most.
I’m just trying out a bit of a photoessay on a building that I had noticed for a while now that had a red spotlight on the side of it and made the effort to go and take a few photos of it, using the red as a focal point.
Unfortunately or as it turned out fortunately it was raining when I took the shots, so I popped down after work and grabbed my shots trying to keep the camera dry and work a couple of angles trying to keep the rain of the lens.
it was a interesting and fun exercise which I will repeat again I’m sure ….
