Blue Mountain

Over the last week Alex Mack with some help from Dom Hubner have transformed the front of the Blue Mountain club in Stokes Croft ready for the clubs refurbishment and reopening this week.

Great use of colours as usual from Alex who is no stranger to working on big wall’s, the last time she was in Bristol Alex painted the outside of the Duke of York Pub over in St Werburghs last year.

The Darker Side Of Bristol part 2

This is the second part of my Darker Side of Bristol  post again with mostly urban images taken around Bristol this last month or so I’m slowly getting the hang of what I need to do and where to go to try my ideas.

The Darker Side Of Bristol part 1

I’m enjoying doing night photography at the moment around Bristol as I’m having to step out side of my comfort zone and try new ideas and processes which to be honest is a lot of fun.

So I’m going to be breaking this post into two parts otherwise it will be a bit on the cramped side and will try and mix it up a bit, but it is mostly of a urban nature.

Nelson Mandela

I had the very good fortune this weekend to watch and document a wonderful piece of art being created in tribute to Nelson Mandela.

The Work was commissioned  by PRSC and painted by Paintsmiths  artists  Felix Braun ( FLX ) and Jake Dones ( Dones ) on Jamaica Street , Stokes Croft in Bristol.

Breakdancing Jesus

I had the great privilege over the week to photograph Cosmo Sarson painting his Breakdancing Jesus at the Canteeen in Stokes Croft here in Bristol, it was a real pleasure to watch him paint and share some of his time while he worked.
