I had the great privilege over the week to photograph Cosmo Sarson painting his Breakdancing Jesus at the Canteeen in Stokes Croft here in Bristol, it was a real pleasure to watch him paint and share some of his time while he worked.
Bristol and Bath have a bit of a history of street performers especially with the street theater group Desperate Men and the circus school Circomedia being based here, as well of plenty of small independent groups and individuals that are passionate about it. Sometimes its a organized events, sometimes it’s a pop up event or just someone trying something out for fun, so you never always know what you will see when you walk around a corner.
On my travels around Hong Kong I used to love going through the markets thay seemed to be every where I went and with so much going on in and around Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.
Hong Kong left such a lot of wonderful memories in my mind and heart. I used to walk everywhere I could enjoying the sight and sounds of such a vibrant and rarely quite city.
There was always something going on, lots of local people working or just moving through there city.
Then you had the tourist who just seemed to pop up everywhere you went ( I shouldn’t moan as I went as a tourist ) but Hong Kong is such a fun city to photograph !
